Brymo boycotts Chocolate City and Spinlet To Release Album on ITunes

Brymo has released his third album ‘Merchant, Dealers and Slaves‘.

The recording artiste made the 11-track LP available on iTunes Music Store today October 20, 2013 for the price of $9.99 (approximately N1,600) per download.

This is ofcourse, Despite facing legal and contractual issues with former record label Chocolate City, Brymo has gone on to release his new album, less than a year after he dropped his Choc City debut ‘#TheSonOfaKapenta’.

Well on the other hand, Spinlet who announced in August this year to be distributing Brymo’s upcoming album were also boycotted as Brymo went ahead to release his new album on iTunes, see munched picture below..

But we were able to gather the reason spinlet could not go on with the distribution of the new album, according to an inside source in Brymo’s camp explains that after signing with Spinlet, the digital distribution company came back to them explaining that they could only go ahead with the deal if they (Brymo’s team) released the album under Chocolate City. An insider at Spinlet tells us they where not ready to get into any legal tussle between artiste and label.
